- Spectrogram view · playback — The spectrogram is drawn the moment you open a file, and hovering reads out the frequency, dB and note name at that point.
- Gapless tab switching (A/B) — Switch between versions of the same track at the same position without a gap, and compare them by ear on the spot.

Frequency selection · band listening
Drag diagonally to grab a time × frequency rectangle, then hear that band alone — or Invert to hear everything but that band. The filter is steep, so what is outside the band is all but gone. Grab an edge to resize it, or the middle to move the whole box.
Zoom
Zoom and pan both the time and frequency axes freely — drag an axis, use the wheel, two fingers, －/＋, or zoom to selection. Playing while zoomed keeps the cursor centred and scrolls the view. The spectrum window's frequency and volume axes zoom too.
Markers · notes · undo
Give a point or a region a name, colour and note, and it comes back exactly as you left it the next time you open that file. Delete something by accident and undo, redo or the history will bring it back.
Playback speed
Slow down or speed up between 0.25× and 2× while the pitch stays put. Useful for hearing detail in fast passages.
Frequency scale · colour
Choose from five scales — Log, Ext.Log, Bark, Mel, Linear — and eight palettes. The spectrogram and the spectrum can use different scales.
Screenshots
Save the view you are looking at, or the whole file, as a PNG with the axes and markers included. Handy for passing on a comparison as-is.
Instant Play
Queue several tracks and listen through. The next track's spectrogram is prepared in advance so nothing breaks at the change, and playback continues with the screen off or another app in front (previous, play and next from the notification). You can queue a whole folder, shuffle and repeat.
Settings
Adjust FFT size, quality, dB range, level matching, start-point alignment, crossfade and theme. The web edition is fixed at the defaults.
